Biography

Brandon is an early career theatre maker based in West Yorkshire. Having previously trained with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, he went on to graduate with first class honours from Leeds Conservatoire, having been the first person from his family to attend university.

Brandon was selected from theatre makers across the country to form the inaugural OV Theatre Makers Company at The Old Vic in London, subsequently joining their creatives network. Since this he has assisted, facilitated, developed text, and worked as a dramaturg. He has directed for intimate and larger scale spaces as well as site-specific environments.

As a member of Graeae Theatre Company's Writers Network, Brandon is receiving one-to-one mentorship and dramaturgical support in addition to developing his own work.

The myriad skills that Brandon brings along with an openness to build and further develop his creative values and toolkit is a testament to his tenacity and passion for the arts.

"I find myself genuinely in awe of his ability to communicate and connect, with infectious energy, knowledge and a warm-hearted persona that was influential in bonding the company."

- Joseph Hancock, Theatre Director, Old Vic Theatre Makers
